About you:

Are you passionate about empowering people to build resilience, find stability, and move forward with confidence?

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, grounded, and committed to making a difference. You’ll have experience working with people around their mental wellbeing and the ability to build trust through supportive one-to-one relationships. You’re confident working both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. You bring a non-judgmental, person-centred approach and feel comfortable managing a varied caseload.

Most importantly, you believe in people’s capacity for change and recovery and are committed to supporting them to move towards greater stability and wellbeing in a way that feels right for them.

The role:

At Nottinghamshire Mind, we take a person-centred, holistic approach to mental wellbeing. Our R&S programme supports adults to develop practical coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and navigate everyday challenges with greater confidence.

As a Recovery Coach, you’ll work in a non-clinical setting, using coaching techniques to empower people to recognise their strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop positive routines. You’ll build trusting relationships while delivering structured, goal-focused support to a wide range of clients across Nottinghamshire, both face to face and remotely.

Interview Process:

  • If we think you are suitable for the role, we will be in touch to organise a time & date for an interview
  • The interview will be an opportunity for us to have a chat with you and find out more about why you would like to be a Resilience and Stabilisation Recovery Coach
  • We can also answer any more questions you might have about the role and the commitment, and find out how we can best support you in the role
