Community Services Update - June 2026
Changes to our Community Services
Nottinghamshire Mind has made the incredibly difficult decision to close some of our community services and groups in Nottinghamshire.
This decision has not been made lightly. We know these services matter to the people who use them and have made a positive difference within our communities. Their closure is not a reflection of a lack of need, value or impact.
Like many charities, we are navigating ongoing changes in funding. Support from fundraising, grants and council funding has helped sustain these services, but increasing financial pressures across the sector, reduced public spending and greater competition for available funding mean difficult decisions are sometimes unavoidable.
We recognise that this news will be disappointing for many people, including service users, volunteers, staff, partners and supporters. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to these services and helped support local people over the years.
While this is hard news to share, it also gives us an opportunity to listen, learn and refocus on what our communities need most. We remain committed to providing mental health support across Nottinghamshire and to shaping future services with care, learning and hope.
We will continue to work alongside our communities, partners and supporters as we look to the future, and we thank everyone for their understanding and continued support.
While some services and groups will continue, we understand that this change will affect many people.
Details of the services that remain available can be found here.
