Yes, we’d love to have you join #TeamNottsMind and fundraise for us.
As an own place runner, you won’t have a fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much as you can to help those affected by mental health problems.
We will review each application anonymously before making a decision. To improve your chances, please give us much information as possible as to why you want to support Nottinghamshire Mind and how you plan on raising £2,500.
You will have a 50% (£1,250) fundraising deadline of 26th February (2 months before the event).
We then ask that the full £2,500 is with us by 26th May (1 month after the event).
We set the minimum fundraising target at £2,500 to make sure we’re able to cover the costs that we’ve paid for the place as well as put enough back into our vital services to support people living with a mental health problem.
You don’t need to raise the full amount until 1 month after event day. We know a lot of donations come in on the week of and after the event. So there is still plenty of time to plan your fundraising and collect donations.
We will be in touch throughout your journey to give fundraising tips and ideas.
Please make sure you’re confident you can raise the £2,500 before you apply.
Everyone who is given a place will receive a welcome pack in the post. This can take between 10-15 working days.
Please specify on your application if you would like a running vest. Once your registration is confirmed, we will send this to you by post.
You will need to collect your race pack from the Running Show, which usually runs from the Wednesday to Saturday before the event. Make sure you allow time to collect the pack during your race day planning.
Nottinghamshire Mind does not currently have plans to be there on Marathon Day. However National Mind will have cheer points along the route, and they will be cheering on all those running for Local Minds.
