The role:

We are looking for a volunteer for our #Wellbeing Walking Group which is held at the Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottingham! This is held every Tuesday 10:30-11:45am

As part of our #Well Community, Peer Support Volunteers play a vital role in fostering a welcoming and supportive environment. They help facilitate everyday conversations, promote positive communication, and encourage people to build stronger connections.

While engaging in meaningful discussions, volunteers also provide guidance by signposting individuals to appropriate services should they require additional personal support.

Volunteer Responsibilities:
Welcome and support attendees at the nature reserve throughout the walk.

Record attendance where necessary.

Encourage comfortable and appropriate conversations.

Promote inclusivity, ensuring a safe and welcoming space.

Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Report any concerns or issues to staff.

Apply safeguarding measures as needed.

Join us in creating a community that nurtures connection and wellbeing!
